Pax of The Brethren of the Coast
One dark and stormy night, on an unnamed Island in the Caribbean, with the sea heaving like a tumultuous beast and the sounds of ships crashing against the shore, a small castaway group of legendary pirates and ruthless privateers banded together, for the first and the last time in history.
Their plunder and cunning was, in itself, legendary. But against all odds, reason, and nature, the four most notorious pirates found themselves seated across from one another, at a table covered in candles, maps, and stolen gold bullion and rare silver coins.
They made an agreement that night — signed in blood, overseen by the ghosts of the most nefarious seamen of generations passed — to create a code amongst thieves.
The rules of engagement. The Pirate's Code.
Here be a ring for each hand signed that night, one to represent each of the most dangerous criminals of the sea. Together they create The Code, to be upheld in life and in death, by any pirate who dares sail the water blue.
