There's very little photographic evidence of Robert Johnson — after that fateful evening at the Crossroads, his legendary sound spread as if on the wind, but rarely documented beyond a few now-recovered audio recordings. But those who witnessed his playing say his hands moved like ghosts, almost right through the guitar instead of on it, and always, with a strange ring on his hand. Often it moved too quickly for any eye to notice.
But many, many years later, just before his estate and belongings were put up for auction, this was found — The Ring. The Ring that held his signed soul, the one that linked his life to The Devil's own Hellhound.
